My entry for the #IntelVFXContest for the #3DModeling category was this environment, the Intel Island. My idea was to create a calming stylized environment while keeping technology as a focus in it. The end result is this cute grassy island powered by an Intel processor (Core i7 of course). In case you are wondering, the binary bands going around the CPU spell out Intel. The assets were modeled in Maya, then textured in Substance Painter, and finally the map was built and rendered within Unity.
