The Level 1 Tree Shield was my first model in the PBR texture workflow back in 2016. Originally, I had designed to make this part of a 3-shield set. As the name states this would be the Level 1 shield. Then Level 2 would have the branches take over most of the shield. Then the final shield would look like a tree trunk. The main goal for this model was to learn how to use Quixel and create PBR textures. While also creating a poly limit of only 500 polys to test my limits. The end result of the Tree Shield was creating a good understanding of PBR texturing. While ending up with a model with only a total of 488 polys. This may be an older model, but one of my favorites is that I constantly get people talking about it.
